As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing power and distribution transformers for various applications. You will work closely with multi-disciplinary teams, ensuring that their products meet industry standards and customer specifications.Duties:
Design and develop electrical schematics for power and distribution transformers. Perform calculations and simulations to optimize transformer performance. Ensure that designs comply with industry standards such as IEC, IEEE, and ANSI. Collaborate with Mechanical Engineers, manufacturing teams, and customers to refine designs. Conduct fault analysis, testing, and validation of transformer designs. Provide technical support for production, installation, and troubleshooting. Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes.
Requirements:
â?? Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. â?? Experience in designing power and distribution transformers. â?? Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, MATLAB, or equivalent. â?? Strong understanding of electromagnetic theory, insulation systems, and thermal management. â?? Knowledge of international transformer design standards. â?? Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. â?? Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
