As the Payroll Specialist, your duties include the following:
Run smooth weekly and monthly payrolls like a clockwork master
Keep us on the right side of tax regulations, labour laws and company policies
Solve payroll puzzles and discrepancies with efficiencies and flair Make sure overtime has the official stamp of approval
Handle the magic behind medical aid and pension fun applications, changes and terminations
Help employees with the Two-pot retirement system
Reconcile all medical, pension and union contributions to keep everything in balance
Add and update employees the payroll system
Keep the records squeaky clean and ensure integrity when it comes to the data
Guide the onboarding process with accuracy
Create payroll reports
Ensure compliancy with SARS, UIF and all necessary statutory bodies
Generate detailed reports on payroll costs, deductions and overtime
Ensure flawless reconciliation between time and attendance
Skills & Experience:
2-4 Years of experience working in a similar position
Proficiency in payroll systems and Excel
Qualification:
Matric
Diploma in the relevant field would be advantageous.
