As the Payroll Manager your will lead and oversee the payroll team, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of payroll in compliance with both business and legal requirements.
As a Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
- Oversee Payroll Operations: Ensure payroll processes are standardized and accurate by developing and implementing effective payroll procedures, controls, and guidelines.
- System and Data Integrity: Continuously monitor payroll systems and data to identify and mitigate risks, including fraud, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with statutory and third-party reporting requirements by submitting all necessary reconciliations and providing accurate data for monthly and annual finance and HR reports.
- Stakeholder Management: Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders while working closely with payroll, finance, HR, and line management to maintain trust in the transparency and confidentiality of payroll processes.
- Team Leadership: Lead, coach, train, and manage the payroll team to drive performance aligned with the company’s leadership principles and organizational values.
- Employee Satisfaction: Address employee questions and concerns related to pay, deductions, and company contributions, ensuring clarity and high satisfaction levels.
- Project Support: Participate in payroll-related projects to ensure their successful execution and support the continuity of business operations.
Qualifications:
Completed Matric
Payroll qualification would be beneficial
Requirements:
5 - 7 years’ experience in a similar position
Attention to detail
Familiarity with the legislation and tax requirements of Eswatini, Lesotho, and Mozambique.
