Procurement and Planning Manager

Package : R1 100 000 CTC P/A

With a commitment to innovation and quality, they are looking for a Procurement and Planning Manager to optimize their supply chain, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and seamless production flow.

Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and execute procurement strategies to ensure a steady supply of raw materials.
· Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure quality materials at competitive prices.
· Oversee production planning to align inventory with manufacturing schedules and customer demand.
· Manage supplier relationships and assess vendor performance.
· Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, production, sales) to optimize resource allocation.
· Monitor market trends, pricing, and risks to adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
· Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- Staff Management: 5 to 6 years
- Procurement Manager: 10 years or more
- Planning Manager: 10 years or more
Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
· 10+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or production planning, preferably in the chemical or manufacturing sector.
· 5+ years at management level and supervising at least 5 direct reports
· Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
· Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems and supply chain analytics.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
