Our client, a leading OEM in Mineral Processing, is looking for an experienced Electrical, Control & Instrumentation (EC&I) Engineer to join their team. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining EC&I systems for high-performance industrial applications.Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical, control, and instrumentation systems for OEM products.
- Oversee the integration of automation and control systems.
- Perform fault-finding, troubleshooting, and optimization of EC&I systems.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including software, mechanical, and process engineers.
- Conduct site visits for commissioning, testing, and support when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- At least three years of experience in an OEM or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of PLC, SCADA, DCS, and industrial automation systems.
- Experience with instrumentation, sensors, and control networks.
- Understanding of electrical schematics, P&IDs, and control system architecture.
- Familiarity with industry regulations such as IEC, SANS, or NEC standards.
- Ability to manage projects and work effectively in a team environment.
