Position: Sales Representative – Retail Division
Location: Office-based twice a week, client visits and remote work otherwise
Commission & Incentives:
- 5% commission on product sales
- 7.5% commission if installation is included in the sale
- R5,000 cash bonus at R50,000 gross profit for the company (no commission increase beyond this)
- Monthly sales target: R25,000 gross profit
- Fuel compensation for business-related travel
Job Purpose:
The Sales Representative is responsible for selling high-quality audio-visual equipment and installation services, building strong client relationships, and identifying opportunities for long-term service agreements. The role requires a proactive approach to sales, lead generation, and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct client research and lead generation to expand sales opportunities.
- Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring a high level of customer service.
- Handle administrative duties in the office twice a week, including:
- Making sales calls and sending emails
- Drafting weekly sales reports
- Conducting industry and client research
- Scheduling and attending client meetings
- Participating in weekly internal sales meetings
- Develop and execute structured sales strategies with clear objectives.
- Promote retail and installation services, including:
- Selling premium audio-visual equipment
- Providing customized installation solutions
- Targeting schools, hotels, theatres, conference centers, convention centers, and retail spaces
- Identify opportunities to secure long-term service agreements with clients.

- Ability to work independently and take initiative in a target-driven environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
- Previous sales experience in AV, retail, or installation services is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development opportunities.
