Laastedrif Agri (Pty) Ltd., is an established commercial agricultural enterprise, specialising in the cultivation of fresh fruit and vegetables. Laastedrif Agri serves a range of local supermarkets as well as international markets.

Laastedrif Agri has the abovementioned position available at the production unit, Nuwerus, situated near Elandsbaai.

This position will report directly to the Farm Manager, and will mainly be responsible for the following key performance areas, namely: *Tractors *Agricultural implements *Pack store machinery *Trucks and vehicles.

Responsibilities include: *Preventive service, maintenance and repair of tractors *Preventive maintenance on pack store implements and vehicles *Stock management pertaining to machinery, equipment and tools *Management of Occupational Health and Safety best practice *Ensuring a clean and tidy work area as well as workshop.

Essential qualifications, skills, and experience:
• N2 Mechanical, or similar qualification (qualified diesel/tractor mechanic, auto-electrical can be advantageous);
• Experience of 5 years’ or more (qualification included) in a similar position;
• Mechanical experience with tractors, as well as agricultural and pack store machinery, will be highly advantageous;
• Strong ability to plan, prioritize, and complete tasks;
• Computer proficiency (MS Office, especially Excel and Outlook);
• Productivity and cost management oriented mindset;
• Good communication and reporting skills;
• Good human and labour relations;
• Willingness to work after hours and weekends, if required;
• Valid driver's license.
