Cost Estimator - Branding Solutions (JB5187) Johannesburg, Gauteng R15,000 – R20,000 CTC per month Permanent We're looking for a detail-oriented Cost Estimator to support our client's sales team by sourcing products, generating quotes, and managing orders for promotional merchandise and corporate gifts. If you have strong admin, negotiation, and sales support skills, this role is for you! Minimum Requirements: Valid driver’s license and own vehicle 3–5 years of experience in sales administration, quoting, and/or production. Ability to meet deadlines and perform effectively under pressure. Strong financial acumen and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and familiarity with Netsuite, Accpac, or Sage is advantageous. Experience in managing production processes is a plus. Knowledge of CI and CAD approvals will be beneficial. Duties and Responsibilities: Accurately calculate costings and prepare client proposals based on their brief and requirements. Ensure quote requests are submitted correctly and within the company’s SLAs. Proactively suggest alternative products/services to meet client budgets and deadlines. Negotiate best possible pricing with suppliers to maintain optimal gross profit margins. Follow up on quotations and communicate updates with the external sales executive. Manage supplier purchase orders (POs) and customer POs within required timeframes. Oversee order completion by coordinating with internal departments to meet company standards. Ensure that documentation and approvals (CI and CAD) are submitted accurately and on time. Provide first-line telephonic assistance to customers and identify sales opportunities. Work closely with the external sales team, handing over confirmed quotations and assisting with necessary follow-ups. Handle customer queries professionally and efficiently. Support management with ad hoc projects as needed. Perform various office administration duties to ensure smooth workflow. Maintain in-depth knowledge of corporate identity (CI) requirements for allocated customers.
