Description:
Our client has been a cornerstone of the South African construction industry for over a century, delivering world-class building and infrastructure services to customers across a broad range of industry sectors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective overall management of the site. This includes the optimisation of financial performance of the site and implementation of site-specific systems and controls.
Requirements:
· Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering
· Minimum of 15 years’ experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry, especially in the construction of Bridges and Roads & Earthworks.
· Must be registered as a professional with SACPCMP
Responsibilities:
· Ensure overall responsibility for safely managing one or more large and complex infrastructure projects.
· Ensure the budgeted turnover and profitability of the projects are achieved and exceeded.
· Take control of subcontractor and supplier management and be intimately involved with project planning and programming.
· Liaison with all stakeholders
