Are you a highly skilled HVAC Technician with expertise in VRV (Variable Refrigerant Volume) and VRF (Variable Refrigerant Flow) systems? We’re looking for a technical specialist to install, service, maintain, and repair advanced VRV/VRF air-conditioning systems across multiple sites. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (KEY RESPONSIBILITIES)
As a VRV/VRF HVAC Specialist , your role will go beyond standard HVAC maintenance. You will:
- Install, commission, and troubleshoot VRV/VRF air-conditioning systems across commercial, industrial, and residential sites.
- Diagnose and repair system faults, including refrigerant issues, compressor malfunctions, and electronic control failures.
- Perform preventative maintenance on VRV/VRF systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Configure and integrate VRV/VRF units with Building Management Systems (BMS) for enhanced automation and efficiency.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation related to VRV/VRF systems.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards, including OSHA and refrigeration handling regulations.
- Provide expert advice to clients and recommend solutions for energy savings and system upgrades.
- Mentor junior technicians, sharing knowledge on advanced HVAC technologies.
- Be available for emergency call-outs, extended hours, or weekend shifts as required.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Experience:
- 3 – 5 years of hands-on experience as an HVAC Technician, with a focus on VRV/VRF systems.
- Strong expertise in commercial and industrial refrigeration systems, including chill water systems, package units, DX systems, and air handling units.
- Experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting VRV/VRF systems from brands such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, LG, Samsung, or Toshiba.
- Exposure to multiple projects and site portfolios.
- Experience leading small teams (advantageous).
Qualifications:
- Red Seal Commercial Airconditioning Trade Qualification (Mandatory)
- VRV/VRF System Training Certification (Preferred)
- Safe Handling Practitioner Certificate (Optional)
- Valid Driver’s License with 3+ years driving experience (Mandatory)
