Job & Company Description:As Bookkeeper you will be responsible for:
Maintain an accurate record of financial transactions Update and maintain the general ledger Reconciliation of entries into the accounting system. Recording of debits and credits Maintain the trial balance, by a reconciliation of general ledgers Account reconciliation to assert the accuracy of transactions Use knowledge of local laws to comply with reporting requirements Monitor any variances from the projected budget Assist Group Accountant to prepare financial statements Invoice customers and keep track. Chase up overdue payments Ensure that all financial dealings are logged correctly and in line with the necessary legal requirements Any other ad hoc duties What do you need:
Diploma in accounting or finance. 5+ years experience. Experience with overseeing and managing junior accounts staff. Proficiency in Excel and accounting software, preferably Sage Evolution or Business Central. Excellent understanding and application of accounting rules and procedures. Analytical with meticulous attention to detail. High level of professionalism and ability to be assertive.
