Description:

PLANNING

• Evaluate Site Conditions for planning purposes.
• Draw up weekly programme with Site Agent
• Plan activities according to weekly plan.
• Monitor progress against target and take corrective action.

  MAN-MANAGEMENT

  • Ensure that induction of Labour is carried out as per policy.
  • Allocate teams according to weekly plan.
  • Evaluate personnel and make certain that correct construction methods are used.
  • Ensure that team leaders and operators receive all necessary information from Surveyor prior to start of process.
  • Ensure that discipline is maintained in team and hours of work are adhere to.
  • Check that watchmen are on duty.

    PLANT MANAGEMENT

    • Allocate plant according to weekly plan.
    • Allocate and monitor use of small plant and tools.
    • Ensure correct application of plant and implements.
    • Report downtime and mechanical problems.
    • Maintain company image regarding plant.
    • Plan and organise refuelling of plant.
    • Draw up cleaning schedule for plant.

      MATERIAL MANAGEMENT

      • Plan material requirements according to weekly plan.
      • Report shortfalls timeously.
      • Responsible for receiving, storage and loss control of materials.
      • Report exceptions to Site Agent.
      • Responsible for house keeping of designated area.
      • Ensure correct application of material according to prescriptions.

        COST MANAGEMENT

        • Ensure daily completion of daily costing sheets and reporting results.
        • Plan corrective action with Site Agent.
        • Check the correct cost codes are allocated by Supervision.
        • Plan and Manage Site that targets are met.
        • Ensure that safety procedures are followed.
        • Make sure that required testing of materials / work are known and planned for.
        • Ensure correct line of communication with Engineers are followed on site

          CONTRACTUAL MANAGEMENT

          • Ensure that quality standards are known to supervision.
          • Monitor and ensure that quality standards are upheld.
          • Ensure that safety procedures are followed.
          • Make sure that required testing of materials / work are known and planned for.
          • Ensure correct line of communication with Engineers are followed on site.

            PUBLIC RELATIONS

            • Ensure Healthy relationships with Engineers and Client.
            • Communicate conduct to workers with respect to company transport, toilet faci
