Description:

This role involves designing tailor-made itineraries, handling all aspects of the tour process, and ensuring seamless, high-end service for discerning clients. The ideal candidate must have proven experience in luxury inbound travel, strong destination knowledge, and exceptional organizational and communication skills.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven experience as a luxury inbound travel consultant Proficiency in Tourplan is essential
  • Extensive knowledge of luxury travel destinations, accommodations, and experiences in Southern and/or East Africa
  • Ability to plan, quote, and design bespoke itineraries accurately and efficiently
  • Managing all aspects of tours from quotation through to post-tour file closure
  • Ensuring in-country guest tours run smoothly and handling any on-the-ground issues
  • Being on call for traveling guests after hours when required
  • Handling all tour administration, service bookings, and reconfirmations
  • Coordinating invoicing and payments with accounts
  • Preparing and delivering comprehensive travel documents
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volumes of work accurately
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to interact effectively with high-profile clients and agents
  • Strong problem-solving and crisis management abilities
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
  • A proactive, deadline-driven approach with a sense of urgency
