Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with project teams and report to the IT Manager Work closely with business stakeholders to ensure solutions align with strategic enterprise architecture Define and manage non-functional requirements and ensure they are met Organise development tasks and provide accurate estimations Ensure software design and implementation meet architectural goals and quality standards Support business analysts and other project members to ensure functional feasibility Identify and manage technical project risks and mitigation strategies Mentor junior developers and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Act as a subject matter expert on key technologiesSkills & Experience Required:
Relevant degree, diploma, or certification in Computer Science or related technical field 8+ years of development experience Strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle Hands-on experience with agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) Proficiency in C#, .NET 6, .NET Core, SQL Server, Blazor, HTML5, and CSS Experience developing web solutions and working with APIs and RESTful web services Ability to develop unit tests and familiarity with DevOps automation (beneficial) Previous experience in the insurance industry (advantageous)EE Disclaimer: All positions will be filled in accordance with the company's Employment Equity plan.
