Managing Director - The main purpose of this role is to develop, direct and control the strategies of the business to achieve the goals of the Shareholders while endeavouring to perform all his/her duties to the best interest of the company. A Managing Director directs and controls the board and the management team to align their activities with the strategic objectives of the company to achieve its vision, mission and long-term goals and profitability requirements.Electrical Engineering Degree combined with a Business degree, is essential to qualify for this opportunity.Manage key personnel, and ensure effective succession planning.Ensure that the quality of products- and services offering to customers are continuously at high levels.Design and implement retention strategies for both talent and customers.Ensure that all aspects human resources are adequate and promote staff wellness, and adherence to legislation with the required policies and procedures being put in place.Foster and create a diverse and positive working environment.Preparation of annual reports and attending/presenting at board meeting.Lead and manage the Technical production teams, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.Develop and implement engineering strategies and plans that align with organizational goalsOversee the design, development, and testing of electrical systems and components.Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.Collaborate with multifunctional teams and departments to integrate electrical engineering and innovative solutions into the broader company initiatives.Give strategic advice and report results and findings to chairman and board members.Understand, assess and improve on Corporate governance in the business and improve and implement King Code IV best practices into the business.Keep all relevant stakeholders informed of developments in line with company’s objectives.Ensure employees move in the same strategic directi... Experience in the management and leadership of staff at all levels and effective deployment of available resources.

MBA degree or similar business qualification advantageous.
Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
15+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 10 years in a similar leadership role
