Duties and Responsibilities:
- Achieve annual regional sales targets and budgets
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively securing new business opportunities
- Manage all administrative tasks efficiently
- Plan and execute call schedules to ensure high levels of customer service
- Oversee new projects from inception to completion, evaluating success with guidance from the Regional Sales Manager
- Proactively develop and present new innovations to customers
- Communicate effectively and collaborate with managers and factory staff
- Handle customer queries and complaints professionally and efficiently
- Take on additional responsibilities as required, within your skills and capabilities
Minimum Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Grade 12
- Post graduate qualification an advantage
- A proven track record in sales essential
- At least 2 years hands on experience in an internal/external sales function (having serviced / interfaced with customer base)
- Experience in the Printing and Packaging sector / Technical Sales a definite advantage
- Good knowledge and skill in costing and pricing a distinct advantage
Knowledge and Skills:
- Good telephone manner is essential
- The ability to communicate confidently and effectively with the various stakeholders internally and externally
- Be capable of operating effectively in a diverse team environment
- The ability to perform well under pressure with minimal supervision and be able to meet short deadlines
- Strong organizational and administration skills
