Description:
Job Purpose: The Facilitator for Qualification 48977 – Mixed Farming Systems (NQF 2) will be responsible for delivering quality training in mixed farming systems, which includes integrated crop and livestock management. The facilitator will guide learners through the curriculum, ensuring they gain practical skills and theoretical knowledge essential for effectively managing both crop and livestock production in a sustainable and profitable manner.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Education:
- A minimum of a National Certificate or Diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science, Plant Production , or a related field (NQF Level 2 or higher).
- Experience:
- At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience in mixed farming systems (both crop and livestock production).
- Previous experience in facilitating training or teaching in an agricultural context is preferred.
- Knowledge of NQF-level qualifications and agricultural education is an advantage.

- In-depth knowledge of mixed farming systems , including crop management, livestock management, and integrated farming practices.
- Ability to design and implement engaging lesson plans and learning materials for mixed farming systems.
- Strong communication skills to effectively deliver lessons and engage with learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Sound assessment skills, including the ability to evaluate both practical and theoretical knowledge.
- Organizational skills to manage class schedules, learner records, and assessments effectively.
