New vacancy is available for a Diesel Technician for our client in the Automotive Industry, based in the Kraaifontein area Cape Town. Duties:Workshop Operations: Support the Workshop Foreman and maintain department relationships, manage work efficiently, and record hours worked. Task Performance: Perform exemplary tasks and adhere to minimum standards required by the Group. Job Card Completion: Properly record all hours, lubricants, and parts used, and follow systems and processes as instructed by management. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, especially when attending to breakdowns, and wear correct PPE. Relationships and Teamwork: Internal Relationships: Build sound relationships with parts staff, colleagues, and peers, and promote a collaborative atmosphere. Mentorship: Take ownership of apprentices, complete documentation, and transfer skills effectively. Health and Safety: Ensure adherence to Health and Safety rules and encourage colleagues to do the same. Accountability and Productivity: Documentation: Diligently complete all documentation, including logbooks and warranty claims. Time Keeping: Set an example with regards to time keeping and adhere to Labour Relations Act. Wellness and Confidence: Promote wellness, self-confidence, and understanding within the team. Personal Development: Training and Learning: Participate in relevant training programs, share new knowledge with others, and take note of personal learning and self-development. Adherence to Rules: Obey company rules, including those related to tool, special tools, and company assets. Driving and Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure the vehicle is properly cleaned and presentable, and obey the rules of the road.Requirements: Matric Diesel Trade Test Completed Minimum 2-3 years experiences in similar role Code 14 license with PDP Technical expertise, understanding and knowledge SECTOR: Automotive
