About the Role:
EC Security Services is seeking a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Security Operations Manager to oversee our guarding division in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of all sites, maintaining a professional corporate image, and upholding excellent client service standards. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to manage teams effectively while ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Oversee and manage daily security operations across multiple sites, ensuring seamless execution
✅ Enforce company policies and ensure that all security personnel adhere to their assigned roles and responsibilities
✅ Maintain a professional corporate image by ensuring all security staff are properly dressed, well-groomed, and presentable at all times
✅ Conduct regular site inspections to assess security standards and address any issues promptly
✅ Build and maintain strong client relationships by ensuring consistently high levels of customer satisfaction
✅ Manage and optimize staff scheduling, rostering, and resource allocation
✅ Monitor security procedures and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and service quality
Requirements:
🔹 5+ years of experience in a Security Operations Manager role within the guarding industry – essential
🔹 Strong leadership and conflict resolution
🔹 PSIRA-registered (Grade A preferred)
🔹 Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license, non-negotiable
🔹 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach
🔹 Ability to multitask, manage high-pressure situations, and enforce discipline effectively
🔹 Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
🔹 High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability
