Description:
A well established resturant based in Hazelwood is seeking a Pastry Chef.
Duties:
• Create and develop unique, high-quality pastries and desserts, with a focus on croissants and brownies.
• Ensure consistency in taste and presentation of all bakery products.
• Experiment with new recipes and refine existing ones to maintain the highest standards.
• Oversee daily pastry production and ensure timely delivery to customers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Train and mentor junior pastry chefs and kitchen staff.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop seasonal menus and special offerings.
Requirements:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Preferably from the hospitality industry
- Minimum of 5 years experience
- Must be willing to work Shift hours
