PURPOSE OF JOB
To assist customers in a professional, prompt, and ethical manner and to sell and promote the products effectively.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Previous Experience in a similar role as Business Development Executive.
· Strong knowledge and experience in spare parts – trailer, heavy duty spares, commercial vehicles
· Computer literacy in MS Office, Outlook, and SYSPRO is vital.
· Willing to travel into Africa – Botswana, Zimbabwe.
· Willing to travel locally to areas such a Limpopo and North West.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· To effectively and efficiently expedite e-mail and telephonic orders.
· To handle telephonic queries, quotations, and sales orders.
· To handle counter sales and print Notices to Pick for Dispatch department.
· Follow up on back orders when parts are unavailable immediately and communicate delivery dates to customers.
· Syspro sales order maintenance, ensuring only valid orders are captured in the system.
· Processing and checking orders and following up with order acknowledgment.
· Visiting customers (Distributors) during the month as required.
· Process RMA’s (Returns from customers)
ADDITIONAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
· To do invoicing, customer service orders, and process back orders when required as a backup to the Invoicing Clerk.
· Attend daily production meetings on a rotational basis to discuss spare parts issues.
· Carry out all reasonable and lawful instructions given to you by your superiors.
