Job Title: Junior Quantity Surveyor

Hire Resolve’s client, a well-established Construction company, is seeking a highly skilled Junior Quantity Surveyor. A Junior Quantity Surveyor is responsible for assisting in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management of construction projects. They support senior surveyors in preparing tender documents, conducting site measurements, and ensuring cost-effective project execution while maintaining compliance with industry standards and contractual agreements.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in preparing cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
  • Support in the preparation and evaluation of tender documents and contracts.
  • Conduct site measurements and assess project progress.
  • Monitor and track project costs to ensure budget compliance.
  • Assist in identifying and managing project risks related to costs.
  • Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to ensure cost-effective solutions.
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and project documentation.
  • Assist in preparing progress reports and financial statements for stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and contractual obligations.
  • Support senior quantity surveyors in cost negotiations and contract administration.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 3 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction cost management.
  • Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within the industry.
