Procurement Strategy & Cost Management- Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and supplier reliability.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supplier performance to ensure competitive purchasing.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with key suppliers.
- Negotiate favorable contracts, pricing, and terms to enhance business operations.
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure on-time delivery of materials.
- Collaborate with production and planning teams to ensure inventory aligns with business needs.
- Monitor stock levels, forecast material requirements, and mitigate supply chain risks.
- Ensure procurement aligns with manufacturing schedules to prevent disruptions.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Continuously assess and enhance procurement processes to improve efficiency.
- Work closely with finance and operations teams to ensure budget compliance and cost control.
Minimum Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
- Five or more years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills.
- Experience working with ERP systems and procurement software.
- Excellent knowledge of supplier management, contract negotiations, and cost optimization.
