Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain our platform using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, ensuring high performance and scalability Architect and implement new features that align with business goals and follow technical best practices Optimise performance, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks Lead the front-end team Work closely with the designer and user experience team Communicate directly with customers about technical issues Collaborate with the US-based tech house (hours will still be UK time though) Potential to be part of the leadership circle as the company grows and with additional opportunities to travel Champion best practices in coding, security, and performance to maintain a high-quality codebase
Requirements
4+ years of engineering experience with React and 3+ years with JavaScript and TypeScript (specifically using Zustand (or Redux), TanStack Query, Tailwind CSS, and Formik with Yup) Commercially astute, comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders Deeply curious about customers and eager to learn and apply new technologies for impact Highly motivated and "hungry" to grow Able to take ownership of tasks AI expertise, including integrations, prompt engineering, and AI-powered infrastructure Healthcare industry experience or a strong understanding of health databases and electronic health records (EHRs) Capable of stepping into a leadership role quickly Comfortable working in a startup environment with minimal handholding Familiarity with building automation tools like GitHub Actions and Cloudflare Experience implementing authentication flows using Auth0 or similar providers Familiarity with charting libraries such as React Charts 2 and PDF libraries such as React PDF
