The Tender Administrator will monitor the tender submission process, ensure completeness of data and documents, compliance with requirements, ensure quality standards are adhered to, be aware of and ensure tender deadlines are complied with.
Primary duties include the coordination of the entire tender process from receipt of the advertisement or enquiry until final submission and handover to the relevant contracts team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Tender development: Assist in developing tenders and bids for future work Bid management: Receive, process, record, and track all incoming tenders and alerts Contract management: Maintain contractual records and documentation Reporting: Provide basic reporting on projects Data management: Assist other internal departments with data capturing and reporting Documentation: Update company documents and company registrations on various platforms Office management: Ensure proper maintenance of office facilities and equipment Communication: Manage tender communication with external as needed Compliance: Ensure all tender and contract development activities are in accordance with company procedures
Minimum requirements:
National Diploma in a relevant field (Construction/Building) Have at least 5 years in Tender Compilation, Document Control or Secretarial field Proficient with all aspects of MS Office Have very good time management and able to work to strict deadlines Be able to work flexible hours and overtime whenever required Have impeccable integrity The ability to work independently and unsupervised Have their own transportation
Remuneration:
R15,000 R25,000 CTC (market-related and dependent on qualifications and experience)
