Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure the clock system accurately records the time and attendance of employees. Provide management with daily attendance reports. Ensure the accurate payment of fortnightly wages. Comply with statutory requirements, including UIF and PAYE submissions. Accurately consolidate payroll inputs for the monthly salary payroll. Manage HR and payroll administration efficiently. Provide general HR support across various functions.Minimum Requirements:
Education: Matric (an applicable diploma or certificate will be advantageous). Experience: At least 3 years of payroll experience with reputable references. Time & Attendance Systems: Experience in administering a Time & Attendance system (Jarrison experience is advantageous). Payroll Systems: Proficiency in administering a payroll system (e.g., Pastel Payroll, VIP, etc.).Key Competencies:
Strong computer proficiency, with at least intermediate Excel skills. High level of confidentiality when handling sensitive information. Ability to work towards deadlines and manage time effectively. Self-motivated: Ability to work independently without supervision. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks. Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Excellent planning and organizing skills.
