Responsibilities:
Oversee container shipments from booking to port arrival. Ensure accurate stock allocation and process shipments according to standard operating procedures. Manage client accounts to avoid penalties and additional costs. Attend client and operations planning meetings. Provide clients with shipping options, routes, stack dates, ETDs, and ETAs. Ensure customers receive the correct rates and quotations. Process customer bookings and create/send Q67 documentation to relevant parties. Verify all booking details and update internal systems accordingly. Interact with intermodal teams regarding any amendments or issues.Requirements:
Grade 12/Matric (essential). Diploma in Shipping, Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or Business Management (desirable). Minimum of 2 years' experience in Freight Forwarding & Logistics (preferably imports). Ability to work flexible hours and remotely when required. Proficiency in Google Workspace, Excel, and Inttra (desirable). Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to interpret shipping documentation (desirable). Resilient under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines.This role involves overseeing all aspects of container shipments, from assisting customers with bookings to ensuring their arrival at the port. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
