My client a market leader in the manufacturing space is seeking a Finance Manager to join the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing plant and daily operational activities.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Driving Governance at site
- Manage the weekly cash-up forecasting models against plan and driving continuous improvement with business unit management
- Manage and co-ordinate cost saving initiatives for business unit by optimising finance efficiencies at the unit
- Ensuring the financial compliance of the business meets the standards as outlined per standardised Group operating procedures and work instructions
- Manage the business unit’s payroll costs with oversight of overtime planned and incurred.
- Driving return on capital employed (ROCE)
- Project management, Capex review, EVA modelling
- Managing creditors and debtors
- Manage site BEE submission process
- Manage annual budget process
- Submission of monthly management reporting packs
- Bom analysis on variable cost
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bcom Accounting degree
- 3-5 years of management experience is essential
- Manufacturing and product costing is required
