REQUIREMENTS:
5+ years of relevant experience (preferred) Bachelors degree in Safety or Environmental Management (preferred) Knowledge of OSHA, local HSE by-laws, environmental laws, and ISO 14001 & 45001 standards Proficient in MS Office, with strong Excel dashboarding, reporting, and critical analysis skills First Aid certification (desirable) Ability to work independently, drive department goals, and meet deadlines Strong professional communication with clients, staff, and institutions Adaptable, solution-oriented, and committed to continuous learning and growth High energy, detail-oriented, with a strong work ethic and a clear goal orientation Unquestionable reputation for honesty, integrity, and professionalism
DUTIES:
This position is responsible for providing an integrated SHE Management service to ensure identification and management of SHE risks within company. Identification and management of sustainability initiatives that enhances business performance and supports the long-term business interests of company. To implement and manage the safety, health & environmental philosophy, processes and systems to ensure responsible business conduct by complying with all applicable legal and other requirements.
Health and Safety:
Ensure the relevant committees are coordinated and maintained effectively. Identifying hazards: Identifying potential hazards and assessing risk. Monitoring conditions: Monitoring working conditions and ensuring that risk controls are effective. Advising management: Advising management on how to ensure employees follow safety and health rules. Developing plans: Developing, implementing, and improving health and safety plans, programs, and procedures. Ensuring compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety legislation. Training employees: Identifying training needs and organizing training for employees and executives. Investigating incidents: Investigating workplace accidents and safety-related complaints. Performing inspections: Performing site inspections and safety audits. Inspecting equipment: Inspecting equipment and machinery to identify unsafe conditions. Responding to emergencies: Performing emergency response drills and participating in emergency teams. Reviewing policies: Reviewing existing policies and measures and updating them according to
