To champion and drive forward the growth of the business within the designated territory by developing relationships with key influencers.To provide specialist capital and clinical support to key customers/clinicians which provide the best possible solutions for patient care.
To promote the complete range of products
To design and implement action plans which will positively affect revenue growth and profitability
Meet sales targets / establish opportunities and develop strategies to maximize opportunities
Provide clinical support to customers on a daily basis with clinical selling, education, evaluations and follow up visits
Deliver all key educational programs and tools
Assist regulatory and marketing, with implementation of needed action items
Execute on clinical support activities to effect growth and maintain the safe and effective use of products.
Preparation, execution and delivery of customer training, workshops, demonstrations, assessments as per requirements
Provide feedback and support for any clinical trials conducted by customers
Provide required updates and proper intelligence on all activities to the direct manager and any other duly appointed manager within the organization.
Report and deliver service on non-conformance & adverse events and near misses as per requirements
Frequent travel in Free State, Northern Cape and Lesotho
Execute and support of product and specific sales and marketing strategies and tactics
The development and implementation of the sales plan for the territory
To build and execute effective business plans which will ensure achievement and exceeds set targets
Delivery of sales results in accordance with targets set
Assist in providing the necessary clinical guidance and direction making recommendation as appropriate to ensure the proper utilization of products
Support promotional activities as directed by the Marketing Manager
Respond, execute and complete customer emergencies as per requirements
Responsible for timely completion of administrative tasks and projects
Qualifications
Grade 12
Tertiary qualification in Clinical / Medical / Healthcare or similar
Preferred formal Sales Training
CRICE Excluding sterile field
Minimum 2 years sales experience with either medical / capital equipment or medical devices
Requirements, Skills and Attributes
Proven sales experience in Medical Sales Sales and territory planning and management, product selling, relationship building
Existing client base of customers in the medical capital environment
Prior experience working with procurement Private & Public Hospitals
Strong communications, analytical, interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
Critical to be able to prioritize and multi-task in a highly demanding environment
