Description:
- Location: Based in Stellenbosch or Bellville.
- Experience: Proven experience in building operations and facilities management, including overseeing maintenance, repairs, and renovations for a commercial property portfolio.
- Skills:
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
Responsibilities: Assign and manage tasks for building managers, ensuring they meet deadlines. Oversee day-to-day operations of maintenance and repairs. Develop and manage property management budgets. Conduct regular inspections and ensure emergency preparedness protocols are in place. Maintain effective relationships with contractors, suppliers, and tenants. Ensure all maintenance work is tracked and reported accurately. Evaluate and select contractors based on quotes and project requirements. Monitor and report on the quality of work and progress of various projects. Provide leadership, training, and guidance to staff and teams.
