Description:
Key Responsibilities:- Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software systems
- Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
- Perform system upgrades, software installations, and security patch management
- Manage desktop and laptop inventory, ensuring that all devices are properly maintained
- Assist with network connectivity and peripheral device configuration
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in a detailed and organized manner
- Collaborate with IT team members to ensure seamless technology operations
Experience and Skills Required:
- Proven experience as a Desktop Technician or in a similar technical support role
- Familiarity with common desktop hardware, including printers, monitors, and peripherals
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose technical issues
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional) are a plus
