Requirements:
Relevant qualifications in Lung Function or EEG technology HPCSA registration (Health Professions Council of South Africa) Previous experience in a similar role Strong attention to detail and patient careRequired Skills:
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in operating lung function testing equipment (spirometry, plethysmography, diffusion capacity tests) or EEG machines Ability to interpret and analyze test results accurately Knowledge of medical terminology related to respiratory and neurological conditions Understanding of HPCSA regulations and adherence to professional standards Experience with calibration and maintenance of diagnostic equipmentPatient-Care Skills:
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to explain procedures and comfort patients Ability to work with patients of all ages, including children and elderly individuals Attention to infection control protocols and patient safety Sensitivity and compassion when dealing with anxious patientsAnalytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
