Job Summary:
The Security and Asset Manager is responsible for overseeing the security operations, asset protection, logistics, health and safety, refuse area management, and parking across the Camps Bay Portfolio. This role ensures compliance with all relevant regulations, implements security protocols, and manages risk to safeguard company assets, employees, and guests.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective security policies and procedures. Lead, train, and supervise a team of security personnel. Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend security enhancements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security measures into business operations. Monitor and respond to security incidents, conducting thorough investigations as needed. Stay current on industry trends, emerging threats, and best practices. Manage relationships with external security vendors and service providers. Implement and oversee access control measures, surveillance systems, and emergency response plans. Conduct security awareness training for employees. Prepare and maintain security reports for management.Knowledge of environmental regulations for refuse management
Qualifications:
PSIRA Registered Proven experience as a Security Manager or similar role. Strong knowledge of security protocols and best practices. Excellent leadership and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Experience with access control systems and surveillance technology. Ability to assess and mitigate security risks. Military or law enforcement background is desirable.
