Account Sales Manager (Plastics Industry)-

Are you an experienced sales professional with a background in the plastics industry? Are you ready to take on a role with high earning potential and unlimited commission opportunities? If so, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and establish new sales and marketing leads for company products.
  • Visit and engage with existing and potential customers throughout South Africa.
  • Convert leads into loyal customers by successfully closing sales.
  • Manage customer accounts, ensuring strong relationships and seamless order processing.
  • Oversee the order lifecycle – from placement to delivery – ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and follow up on payments to maintain account stability.
  • Report directly to the Managing Director and Sales Manager.
  • Attend mandatory sales meetings and contribute to team strategy.
  • Prepare and present sales reports as required.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for documentation and reporting.
  • Maintain professional attire and presentation when engaging with clients.
  • Keep accurate records of customer data and update price lists accordingly.
What We’re Looking For:
  • Must have experience in the plastics industry, preferably in blown film extrusion and/or cast film extrusion. Knowledge of shrink films, pallet wrap, lamination films, polyethylene films, food films, and plastic bags is highly desirable.
  • Driver’s License
  • Frequent travel required (local and across provinces).
  • Fluent in English (Afrikaans is a plus but not a dealbreaker).
  • Must be able to engage with clients in the food industries (farms, dairies, etc.) within the Western Cape.
