Description:
The incumbent will be responsible to assist with level 2-3 technical support queries and escalations. Server managementand network maintenance. Provide training and upskilling in various IT applications while leveraging the newesttechnologies to optimize our system. Driving technological innovation and empowering our workforce to harness the fullpotential of IT applications 0n a six month contract. Requirements:- The applicant must be in possession of a relevant qualification or degree in the field of Computer Science or Information Technology and have a minimum of 4 years applicable work experience.
- Microsoft certification (e.g., MCSA, MCSE and MCITP)
- At least 1 years’ experience as a CRM administration/coordinator or similar role.
- At least 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure.
- Knowledge of South African IT legislation.
- A proven record of experience in a technically suitable IT related field.
- Knowledge of Hyper-Converged technologies.
- Knowledge of networking technologies, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, VLANS
- Knowledge of domain management and websites.
- Knowledge of current ICT technologies and trends.

Duties:
- Monitor and respond to escalated IT queries and ensure that SLAs are adhered to.
- Manage the on-premises Active Directory, Office365 and Azure environments.
- Manage and install Virtual Servers (Hyper-converged Clusters)
- Backup and restoration troubleshooting and management.
- Manage the on-premises Exchange in current Hybrid Environment.
- Manage and report on Mimecast Email environment.
- Documents network problems and resolution for future reference.
- Resolution and work order tracking using IT help desk system.
- Troubleshoot system accounts and passwords related issues in active directory, corporate email system,
phone system and related applications and services.
- Install and maintain PC hardware and software to allow users to access the network.
- Proficiency with antivirus & Spyware solutions, backup and disaster recovery applications, network
security systems.
- Record, document and track the movement of ICT assets.
- Provide training and upskilling in various IT applications.
- Report to and perform other duties as may be assigned by ICT Manager.
- Provide reports for all infrastructure related systems.
