Description:
A leading manufacturing company based in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Training Officer who will play a key role in equipping employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively while driving continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include assessing training needs, developing and managing training plans, facilitating onboarding and in-house training programs, and ensuring compliance with accreditation and statutory requirements. The role involves monitoring trainee progress, maintaining quality standards, and implementing solutions to enhance operational efficiency. Additionally, the Training Officer will oversee skills audits, maintain training records, and contribute to reducing quality defects in the workplace.
Requirements:
Matric or an equivalent NQF 4 qualification
5 Years of training and skills development experience within a manufacturing environment
Full understanding of the Skills Development Act
