JOB PURPOSE/OBJECTIVES:

To develop and maintain business relationships with allocated accounts to dominate company market space and optimize sales within the inland regions. To understand and identify customers'' key business goals, aspirations, and priorities, and to be able to show how Eurolux can add value by providing customer-focused products, using in-depth product knowledge to result in additional and future sales.

MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

Responsibilities include sales forecasting and budgeting for assigned accounts. Responsibilities include setting and managing sales targets for assigned accounts. Responsibilities include managing customer relationship building processes for assigned accounts. Responsibilities include facilitating customer interface processes for assigned accounts. Responsibilities include analyzing actual sales compared to budget and targets and developing contingency plans for assigned accounts. Cross functional cooperation between relevant role players specifically internal sales. Responsibilities include developing an understanding of the customer''s business processes market and needs. Responsibilities include gathering customer data,compiling customer profiles, and preparing weekly reports Responsibilities include providing point of sales advice and support to customers. Responsibilities include compiling and adhering to customer call schedules Ensure processing and following up of orders Responsibilities include providing customer service to accounts Responsibilities include ensuring accurate and updated product knowledge, and ability to provide customers with product advice Responsibilities include identifying and resolving client concerns and queries. Responsibilities include making special deliveries to stores Responsibilities include collecting returns and repairs from stores. Responsibilities include managing stock levels (orders done on EDI) Responsibilities include general administration. Research and update ones knowledge of company products. Responsibilities include processing orders at stores Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, telemarketing events, braais, customer evenings etc. JOB/EDUCATIONAL/QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Matric Degree/Diploma in Marketing/Sales or related (NQF6) Valid Drivers Licence (Own vehicle required) Minimum 5 year experience in sales (advantage if in same trade) Demonstrate excellent Microsoft Excel and mathematical skills Traveling is an inherent requirement of the job.
