A leading consulting engineering firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Bridge Engineer to join their growing Bridges & Structures Knowledge Group. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional with strong leadership skills and a passion for innovation to contribute to major infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
· Design and analyze bridges and road structures.
· Perform design checks and review calculations.
· Conduct condition assessments and asset management of bridges and road structures.
· Provide recommendations for rehabilitation and maintenance.
· Prepare bills of quantities, contract documents, and specifications.
· Oversee project management and construction supervision.
· Manage project budgets and contract administration.
· Prepare and review technical reports and presentations.
· Guide and mentor junior engineers.
· Support business development and client engagement.
· Ensure adherence to quality procedures and industry standards.
· Contribute to digitalization and innovation within the business.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
· BEng or BSc (Civil) Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
· Professional Registration (Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng) with ECSA.
· 15+ years of experience in consulting engineering, with bridge engineering expertise.
· Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SOFiSTiK, and Prokon.
· Experience on SANRAL projects with an understanding of SANRAL procedures.
