Hasher Family Wines, situated in the heart of the Hemel-and-Aarde Valley (Hermanus) , has an exciting position available for a dynamic individual with a business-orientated and analytical approach, combined with a strong entrepreneurial spirit, to join their growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys exploring new markets, who looks for the best distribution channels, and has a passion for wine and driving wine sales. The Sales Manager will work in close collaboration with the owners.
Key responsibilities will include (but not be limited to): *structuring the sales approach *executing sales strategies in collaboration with the marketing team *building relationships with new distribution partners *activating sales in the South African market and expanding international sales channels in collaboration with sales partners *communicating with national and international clients to drive sales *supporting the brand story and increasing brand awareness in the local and international market.
Minimum requirements:
• Approximately 5 years’ experience in a similar role in the wine industry;
• Strong understanding of modern sales tools and current market trends;
• Strong interpersonal & presentation skills (English);
• Excellent computer literacy (MS Office & relevant sales/distribution platforms);
• Willingness to travel internationally.
Advantageous:
• Tertiary qualification such as WSET2/3 or CWA diploma will be advantageous.
This is a hybrid role that requires 2-3 office days per week.
