Description:
Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will play a critical role in enhancing financial operational efficiency and delivering key financial insights to help shape and support the groups strategic direction.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in financial management, leadership, communication skills, and business intelligence.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership. Demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills while managing financial operations. Lead and mentor a high-performing finance team. Prepare and present monthly financial reports and analyses to senior management for decision-making. Ensure the integrity of the groups financial statements, including consolidated balance sheets, cash flow positions, and forecasts. Ensure compliance with all financial and tax regulations. Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies. Prepare financial presentations for the executive team, Audit and Risk Committee, Board of Directors, and shareholders. Manage relationships with the groups financial partners, including external auditors, banks, investors, and shareholders. Oversee strategic financial planning and analysis to support investment decisions, capital projects, and other strategic opportunities.Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements:
A CA (SA) qualification is required. 10 years of proven financial management experience, providing strategic financial guidance and reporting at a group level. Leadership experience in managing finance teams within a diverse group structure. Strong strategic thinking and financial acumen. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
