Description:
Job purpose: The Inspector, Quality Assurance provides monitors, inspects, analyses and reviews quality processes and procedures for accuracy and completeness to ensure compliance with QMS/ISO standards
Location: Wadeville, Germiston
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain quality assurance policies and procedures according to the selected QMS Standard for Fedatech (ISO 9001);
- Ensure that quality control procedures are implemented at specified quality control points throughout the production life-cycle;
- Performing quality inspections/quality tests at specified quality control points throughout the supply chain life-cycle;
- Provide accurate quality reports highlighting quality issues with proposed solutions;
- Advise Engineering/Production/Management on the need for corrective action through the analysis of Quality Inspection Reports/Quality Inspection records and feedback;
- Ensure calibration equipment is maintained as per stipulated Calibration Policy;
- Effective NCR management in accordance with the company'sNCR Policy;
- Manage customer complaints in accordance with the company's Customer Complaints Policy;
- Ensure all quality standards, policies, procedures, work instructions and forms are compliant and up to date.

- Matric
- Diploma or degree
- ISO 9001:2015 certification
- Certification in quality control
- Working knowledge of verniers, ring gauges, gauge blocks, radius gauges
- Knowledge of internal auditing processes and practices for manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of QA methodologies and ISO 9001:2015 (or latest version)
- Knowledge of quality control standards
- Microsoft office software including Word, Excel, Outlook
- A minimum of 5 - 8 years’ experience in a similar role.
- QMS auditing experience (auditing qualification preferable
- Experience in quality assurance in a manufacturing environment
- Read technical drawings
- Report writing
- Internal Auditing
- Documentation and presentation skills
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong customer orientation
- Root cause analysis
Qualifications:
