Financial Accountant

Description:

We're seeking a Financial Accountant to ensure accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting for our asset management and holding companies. The successful candidate will partner with stakeholders to provide robust reporting for efficient decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage transactional and reporting processes, including month-end entries, reconciliations, and tax returns.
2. Ensure timely cash flow management, including receipts, payments, and forecasting.
3. Support statutory and compliance reporting, including exchange control and SA Reserve Bank applications.
4. Assist with budgeting and forecasting, including preparing budget reports and uploading budgets into the accounting system.
5. Manage credit card reconciliations and claims.

Requirements:

- CA (SA) qualification or undergraduate degree in Accounting with relevant experience.
- Minimum 1-5 years' experience in a commercial/corporate environment.
- Strong technical, business, and financial reporting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to Have:

- Experience with Microsoft Office, ERP systems, and banking profiles.
- Knowledge of financial systems, processes, and internal control mechanisms.
- Experience in a shared services, multi-company, or asset-intensive environment.
