We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager (Retail) to oversee retail store projects from concept to completion . Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Project Management & Execution
- Oversee all project phases, including planning, budgeting, procurement, execution, and handover .
- Conduct site visits, feasibility inspections, and surveys , ensuring compliance with design and site conditions .
- Monitor progress and resolve any project challenges.
🔹 Technical & Cost Management
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, finishes, and local market pricing to support procurement.
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ), conduct price comparisons, and negotiate vendor contracts .
- Ensure compliance with brand design specifications and technical standards .
🔹 Stakeholder Coordination & Compliance
- Liaise with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and landlords to ensure timely project completion.
- Manage relationships with mall management and coordinate approvals with local authorities .
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and mall guidelines .
🔹 Budget & Cost Control
- Track project expenses and ensure cost efficiencies .
- Prepare and review cost estimates and financial reports for management.
🔹 Timeline & Risk Management
- Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks and ensure projects stay on track.
- Proactively identify and resolve potential project delays.
🔹 Reporting & Documentation
- Provide regular progress updates to the Head of Projects in Dubai.
- Maintain clear project documentation, including contracts, approvals, and site reports .
Requirements:

✔ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Civil Engineering .
✔ Experience: 2-4 years in retail project management, construction, or fit-out projects .
✔ Technical Knowledge: Expertise in construction materials, finishes, BOQ preparation, and cost analysis .
✔ Project Coordination: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously .
✔ Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with local authority approvals and mall regulations .
✔ Software Skills: Expertise in project management software (please specify the applications you have worked with).
✔ Communication Skills: Strong reporting, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
✔ Flexibility: Willingness to travel within South Africa as required for project execution.
