Job Title: Swim Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Swim Manager. The Swim Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the swim department, managing staff, and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all patrons. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aquatics management, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting water safety and recreational swimming.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the swim department
- Hire, train, and supervise a team of lifeguards and swim instructors
- Schedule staff and ensure adequate coverage for all swim programs
- Monitor pool equipment and ensure maintenance is performed regularly
- Coordinate swim lessons, swim team practices, and other aquatic programs
- Enforce safety rules and regulations to prevent accidents and promote a safe swimming environment
- Communicate with patrons, parents, and staff to address any concerns or issues
- Keep accurate records of attendance, program participation, and incident reports
- Assist with special events, swim meets, and other activities as needed

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in recreation management, sports management, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in aquatics management
- Current lifeguard certification and CPR/First Aid certification
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of swim instruction techniques and water safety practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
