Duty Manager – 5-Star Luxury Hotel
A 5-star hotel in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This role requires strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a passion for hospitality.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the hotel’s daily operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service. Provide visible leadership during shifts, addressing guest needs and resolving any issues. Supervise and support all departments, maintaining high service standards. Monitor and enforce hotel policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations. Assist in handling guest complaints and feedback professionally and efficiently. Support front office operations, including check-ins, check-outs, and VIP guest services. Conduct inspections of public areas, guest rooms, and back-of-house operations. Manage emergency situations, ensuring guest and staff safety at all times. Liaise with department heads to improve overall hotel performance and guest satisfaction.Requirements:
South African ID. Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a duty manager role within a 5-star hotel. Strong problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure. Strong knowledge of front office, housekeeping, and food & beverage operations. Experience handling guest complaints and conflict resolution. Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.To Apply:
