Our client is looking for a dedicated and motivated Repair Shop Assistant to join their fast-paced service team based in Johannesburg South. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting their skilled technicians and ensuring the smooth operation of their repair shop.Key Responsibilities:
Assist the service team with daily repair shop operations, including maintaining organization and cleanliness. Help with receiving, storing, and organizing parts, tools, and equipment. Support technicians by assisting with basic repairs and maintenance tasks when necessary. Maintain inventory control, ensuring parts and supplies are adequately stocked. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and assisting customers when needed. Support vehicle movement within the shop and ensure proper documentation of service orders. Ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to, promoting a safe and efficient work environment. Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in an automotive repair shop is preferred, but not required. Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail. Ability to take direction and work well within a team. A basic understanding of automotive parts and repairs is a plus. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to lift and carry items of varying weights. Valid drivers license and a clean driving record. Apply Now!
