Our client, a leading manufacturer, marketer, and distributor of technological animal feed additives and disinfectant products, has been at the forefront of the industry since its establishment in 1981. Key Objectives:
Oversee the end-to-end manufacturing process to ensure all requirements are planned for and production lines run efficiently to meet production demands. Ensure products are manufactured to the highest quality standards and that all production team members adhere to required industry-related standards.Key Responsibilities:
Carefully plan production to maintain required stock levels, ensuring both minimum and target levels are consistently met. Evaluate MRP sales forecasts and adjust production plans accordingly, prioritising critical and unforeseen issues. Manage and create production schedules to ensure on-time completion of products. Work with Procurement to ensure all raw materials are on-hand in sufficient quantities. Partner with Dispatch to ensure that stock is ready for timely delivery to customers, adhering to local and export packaging and labelling requirements. Collaborate with the Quality department to ensure all products meet the highest standards of quality. Ensure all OHS and quality standards are adhered to, conducting regular inspections to maintain safety and operational efficiency. Manage the fault-finding process for any out-of-specification products and resolve issues promptly. Monitor production, resolve issues, and escalate significant problems to senior management as necessary. Evaluate production equipment and schedule regular maintenance to ensure minimal downtime. Proactively manage the production team, ensuring effective scheduling of staff and setting daily productivity goals. Motivate, support, and train production staff to maintain high-quality standards. Maintain up-to-date production records, including metrics, reports, and documentation.
