Overview
A leading organization in the engineering and minerals processing industry is looking for a Technical Sales Support – Pyro specialist. This role focuses on providing technical solutions and support for complex product scopes, ensuring that customer needs are met through expert advice and troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in pyro-processing equipment, experience in sales support, and the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical expertise for troubleshooting, operations, and maintenance of pyro-processing equipment. Assist with site visits, digital/remote support (Augmented Reality), and customer inquiries. Support warranty claims, customer complaints, and technical training (both internal and external). Work closely with sales teams to provide technical input and ensure the right solutions are offered to customers. Assist with quotations, solution definitions, and inspections for equipment upgrades and spare parts. Collaborate with Field Services teams, ensuring they have the necessary technical information. Identify repeatable sales opportunities through installed base validation and data analysis. Participate in technical sales planning, including forecasting, opportunity tracking, and proposal development. Travel across Africa and globally to support sales efforts, conduct inspections, and provide technical training.Key Requirements
