Key Responsibilities Sourcing & Supplier Management
Identify, assess, and engage reliable suppliers to support business operations. Negotiate optimal pricing, terms, and contracts to maximize value. Foster strong supplier relationships to ensure consistent quality and timely deliveries. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance for continuous improvement. Procurement Operations & Cost EfficiencyManage end-to-end procurement processes, including purchase orders and approvals. Ensure all purchasing activities align with budgetary and operational goals. Work with internal teams to forecast supply needs and mitigate risks. Troubleshoot and resolve procurement issues efficiently. Inventory Control & Logistics Coordination
Oversee inventory levels to prevent overstocking or stock shortages. Ensure accurate tracking and documentation of inventory movements. Support logistics coordination to streamline supply chain operations. Implement best practices to optimize inventory turnover and reduce waste. Compliance & Reporting
Maintain detailed procurement records, contracts, and purchase history. Ensure adherence to regulatory and organizational procurement policies. Prepare comprehensive reports on procurement costs, supplier performance, and inventory trends. Support audits by ensuring procurement data is accurate and up to date.
What You Need to Succeed
National Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain, or a related field ( Degree preferred). 3+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or buying within ICT / Telecommunications. Strong expertise in inventory management and procurement systems. Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of securing competitive deals. Proficiency in procurement software, inventory management tools, and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on efficiency.
